A Film Screening & Community Quilt Launch – Book your tickets here! 🎟️
Join us at the Osmani Centre on Sunday 8th March 2026 from 4-8:30 PM for the launch of Chat and Patch, a community project and interactive quilt where South Asian women share how they talk about “periods” in their culture and language.
Taking place on International Women’s Day and during Ramadan, the evening will begin with a screening of our documentary film, followed by an opportunity to interact with the collaborative quilt, where each panel holds unique stories capturing participants’ personal experiences.
Content note: the screening will include open conversations about menstruation and lived experiences.
This event is open to all genders, cultures and religions and offers a welcoming space for reflection, dialogue, and shared understanding. This event will be photographed and documented for marketing purposes. Children and under-18s will need to be accompanied with an adult.
Light refreshments will be available for all, and Dinner/Iftar will be provided for those who purchase a dinner ticket (£5). Please note that this will be served at 6 PM in line with those observing Ramadan. This space has a prayer room and an ablution area.
